On the March 6 HL7 Community call, we got into an interesting discussion on Release Notes when we were talking about the Additional Terminology Content section of the Terminology Gateway.

Infoway does provide a variety of release notes depending on the artifact.

• Individual subset release notes can be found here: infoscribe.infoway-inforoute.ca/display/SUB/Subsets

• Release notes done at a packaging level for the PrescribeIT subsets and they can be found here: infoscribe.infoway-inforoute.ca/display/PRES/PrescribeIT

• Release notes and technical specifications for the Canadian Clinical Drug Data Set can be found here: infoscribe.infoway-inforoute.ca/display/CCDD/CCDD+Release+Notes

• And Release notes for the pCLOCD can be found here: infoscribe.infoway-inforoute.ca/display/pCLD/Release+R05.07.00_2.63

We heard you loud and clear when you said that you didn’t have a lot of time to read release notes, so we have really tried to be brief based on what you told us was important to know.

So take a look at let us know what you think. If you have examples of really great release notes, please do share.

We can’t improve them without you.
