Assistance for those beginning a project to use the pan-Canadian LOINC Observation Code Database (pCLOCD) leveraging lessons learned. The mapping of LIS tests to pCLOCD requires the use of a mapping tool. Review and implementation of a tool requires time, and should be planned for during the initial stages of a project.
