The ability to share clinical data between disparate systems remains a challenge for some, both for health providers, but more importantly patients. Allscripts is improving clinical practice within Canada and globally by enabling seamless transitions of care for patients.
By enabling a system-agnostic approach to integration, our solutions are removing barriers to information sharing through our use and support of industry standards and open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The solutions semantically harmonize data captured during patient encounters at multiple care settings, and provide it back to clinicians within their normal clinical workflow. This single health record is available to clinicians and patients to help manage and coordinate health and wellness in the community.
In partnership with our clients, we are pioneering comprehensive population health solutions and integrating precision medicine across the care spectrum. Allscripts brings the intelligence and insights of precision medicine seamlessly to the workflow of the clinician – while simultaneously making this knowledge available for research and pharmacogenomics.
Fraser Health Authority is British Columbia’s largest health authority and connects 12 acute care hospitals and community data, providing all relevant clinical information from multiple source systems at the point of care. Manitoba eHealth provides seamless continuity of care through clinical information sharing. Both organizations are examples of clients using Allscripts to connect multiple clinical solutions and enable clinicians to make more informed decisions, toward improving patient care.
Supporting Canada Health Infoway’s vision for data sharing and compliance to standards, Allscripts builds open, connected communities of health through solutions that enable smarter care, delivered with greater precision, for healthier patients and populations. The Allscripts platform is the core to a learning health system, sharing data and insights across boundaries to drive better, more efficient clinical practice and patient care.
Allscripts is a proud sponsor of the 2016 Infoway Partnership Conference and a friend of Digital Health Week.
