Canada Health Infoway is pleased to share that InfoCentral will transition to Accelerō on July 14, 2026, as part of our ongoing platform modernization efforts.

Canada Health Infoway is proud to announce a significant milestone in Canadian health terminology infrastructure: the successful completion of the initial scope of the Canadian SNOMED CT Drug Extension, encompassing all Health Canada DIN-based drug products marketed since October 2022.

The May 2026 CA Edition of SNOMED CT is now available.

Are you interested in pursuing further education in terminology standards? The University of Victoria’s Health Terminology and Interoperability Standards Certificate program, accredited by The Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM), is now accepting applications for fall 2026.
While preparations for the migration have been underway as part of Infoway’s platform modernization efforts, the transition timeline has been paused until further notice.

University of Victoria's School of Health Information Science is hosting a 3-Day Virtual Workshop on Pan-Canadian Health Information Exchange (HIE) Standards starting Tuesday, April 28, to Thursday, April 30, 2026.

Infoway will be releasing the May 2026 SNOMED CT CA Edition on May 31, 2026.
