The 2016 Infoway Partnership Conference has been accredited for CPHIMS-CA and CHIMA continuing education credits.
CHIMA members can claim 7 CPE credits for Day 1 and 5 CPE credits for Day 2 of the Partnership Conference.
CHIMA requires that all certified members complete a minimum of 36 CPE credits over a three-year period. Of the 36 credits, 80 percent or 29 credits must be Health Information Management (HIM) related. This includes those professionals working in a variety of settings including coding classification, clinical terminologies and vocabularies, data quality, data analysis, information analysis, records management, research, clinical trials, privacy, electronic health record, IT vendor arena, education, and many more. All association and education sessions included in these areas are considered HIM-related.
