During this session, the panel's interactive discussion will examine challenges and opportunities related to interoperability, as well as new standards for messaging, sophisticated and mature systems.


Interoperability Pathway - FHIR: Where, When & How Guidance for Standards Selection
Speakers: Attila Farkas, Director, Interoperability Solutions, Canada Health Infoway and Gavin Tong, Associate Managing Partner, Architecture & Standards, Gevity Consulting Inc.

In this session, attendees will get an overview of HL7 FHIR® and be introduced to a framework for consideration, as well as tools, to support organizations as they make informed decisions on standards selection.


Lessons Learned from Interoperability Implementations
