continues to support standardized lab and clinical observations across Canada, aligning with the latest LOINC version and reinforcing consistent, high-quality data exchange across jurisdictions and care settings.
We strongly encourage you to review the Highlights for Implementers section in the
release notes.
This section is especially important as it calls out:
New content additions based on requests for change
Edits and updates to existing codes that could affect current implementations, including potential changes to LOINC components, properties, method, or pan-Canadian nomenclature
Guidance on areas requiring attention to ensure alignment with the latest standards and avoid downstream inconsistencies
