Canada’s only national inquiry with practicing physicians in primary and specialist practice - the National Physician Survey (NPS) - formally ended/was closed. To support annual planning and to fill the data gap, the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) led the development of the 2017 Workforce Survey.

On August 31, the results of the Workforce Survey were released, indicating that EMR adoption and use is now reported to be 85 per cent nationally (primary care).

A summary deck of the digital health results can be found here .
