The 2026 Pan-Canadian Projectathon has officially wrapped, and what an incredible few days of collaboration it’s been! Participants from across Canada and the world came together to test and validate digital health solutions against pan-Canadian specifications using sandbox environments that simulated real-world workflows and data exchange.
Over the course of the Projectathon, 290 total tests were completed, including 199 no-peer tests and 91 peer-to-peer tests.
The event once again demonstrated the power of collaboration across vendors, implementers, health system leaders and standards experts, all working together to advance interoperability and Connected Care.
Thank you to all participants and partners—your contributions continue to help shape a more connected, interoperable health system for all Canadians.
