Attendees:

Sheridan Cook
Michael Savage
Joan Harper
Elliot Silver
Ken Sinn
Randy Nonay
Rita Pyle
Shamil Nizamov

• Sheridan and Mike updated the group on their first prelim chat with a jurisdictional group (OH)
• Was a chat to help firm up what exactly we’d be looking for the Business Technical Committee to ‘endorse’ re: the CA Baseline
• What are our expectations when we ask for ‘endorsement’?
• Does the group have a ‘reconciliation process’ laid out, for when the jurisdictions decide to endorse the CA Baseline?
• Has the CA Baseline received sufficient comparisons from enough provinces / territories and their FHIR iGuides?
• Randy noted that these types of questions are similar to what early feedback has been on the Alberta side
• Suggestion made to plan to do an “interim pan-canadian community ballot”, which happen post-DDR, pre-endorsement by jurisdictions, just so that we can make an opportunity for other input across Canada to find its way into the CA Baseline and make it more pan-Canadian (which is what some from OH had said would be important for them to feel better about endorsing it)
• Sheridan shared a draft model / template to help us build out this stream’s Efforts to Help Establish CA Baseline Governance Group (the group that the endorsing jurisdictions enter into together
• The working deck (with our guiding questions and the input gathered from the call) is posted here: infocentral.infoway-inforoute.ca/en/resources/docs/fhir/3673-ca-baseline-governance-workstream-vs-governance-group-2021-04-30-v0-1

Hi all!

The agenda for this Friday's CA Baseline Governance meeting is as follows:

1) Update group on outcome of conversation we had with OH Team, and share the feedback we received
2) Follow-up on next step for planning to speak at Alberta's HISCA
3) Re: our ask of jurisdictions to enter into partnership with other jurisdictions as a Pan-Canadian "CA Baseline Governance Group"; let's get some input on the types of things that we feel that Group should handle, versus what this stream (on InfoCentral) should continue to handle (once said Group is established)

Thank you!
