Clinical Stream Updates
• Clinical stream has decided to drop the Goal Profile
• Not enough constraints for it to be useful as a Canadian Baseline Profile
• Only Profile remaining for the Clinical Stream is the Device Profile
• Looking for folks in the Community to get involved with the review of this Profile – please join the Clinical Stream call on Mondays 2-3pm EST if you’ve worked with medical devices and the relevant Device FHIR resource before

Due Diligence Review – Comparing Practitioner Profiles between CA Baseline and DHIR iGuide
• CA Baseline (CAB) defines .birthDate and .telecom as Must Support, DHIR (Practitioner – Performer) does not
• Group feels that .birthDate and .telecom should have their MS flags relaxed in the CAB

Due Diligence Review – Comparing Organization Profiles between CA Baseline and DHIR iGuide
• .identifier and .telecom are defined as Must Support in CAB but not in DHIR
• Decision at this point is to take a wait and see approach re: this discrepancy; will want to see how other iGuides are handling Organization Profiles

• Due Diligence Review comparing CA Baseline to DHIR iGuide is complete
• We will be looking at the Immunization Profile from IPS next, and then move over to the PrescribeIT iGuide

Hi all!

For the Friday Nov 6th agenda, we will begin with a review of any updates from the Clinical Profiles stream, and then continue with the Due Diligence Review which is comparing the CA Baseline Profiles to their equivalent profiles as defined in Ontario’s Digital Health Immunization Repository (DHIR) FHIR iGuide. Specifically, we will be comparing Practitioner as defined in the CA Baseline and DHIR iGuides.

Thank you!
