Hi HTC members,

As our community continues to thrive and expand, we are seeking volunteers for the role of Co-Leaders to help guide and nurture our Health Terminologies Community. This is a wonderful opportunity to play a meaningful part in shaping the future of our vibrant network.

The Co-Leader role is designed to be a light-touch, volunteer commitment focused on fostering engagement and ensuring the HTC remains a supportive, dynamic, and inclusive space. By joining our leadership team, you’ll help sustain the momentum of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovation.

Your contributions would include:
  • Serving as a friendly and approachable point of contact for the community.
  • Prepare and circulate agendas and materials for our monthly meetings and invite speakers to share updates or presentations.
  • Leading and facilitating monthly discussions to promote active, engaging dialogue.
  • Guiding discussions to keep them focused and highlighting key posts or events to ensure they receive the attention they deserve.
  • Collaborate with Infoway and other InfoCentral communities on terminology and standards related topics
This role offers a chance to:
  • Make a meaningful impact on terminology practice across Canada’s digital health landscape.
  • Enhance your professional visibility and build connections with peers and leaders in the field.
  • Contribute to a national forum with a flexible and manageable time commitment.
