Hi all,

The IHE Devices Technical Committee has published the following updated Technical Framework Supplement for trial implementation as of May 9, 2025:

• Service-oriented Device Point-of-Care Interoperability (SDPi) - Rev. 2.1.2

The profiles contained within the above supplement will be available for testing at subsequent IHE Connectathons. The supplement is available at profiles.ihe.net/DEV. Comments on this supplement are welcome at any time and can be submitted via traditional methods at Devices Public Comments or by submitting a GitHub Issue .

Note: The joint IHE-HL7 Gemini Device Interoperability program has published the SDPi 2.1.2 release for Trial Implementation. This revises the previous 1.4 release published in October 2024 - maintaining the objective to publish a release multiple times a year. All details for this and earlier releases are included in the 2.1.2 "changelog" file . In addition to numerous clarifications and incremental updates, this SDPi 2.1.2 release includes a new appendix TF-2C for Security Management, a new section "Unique Localized Text Catalog Identification", and significantly expanded content on non-slewing (abrupt) time adjustments. It also includes the resolution of all January 2024 HL7 SDPi Ballot comments. This represents a unique Gemini balloting process that links HL7 SDPi Jira tickets to IHE SDPi Github issues, with cross-referencing, enabling a simple approach for coordinating between the review and balloting processes in each organization.

IHE Devices White Paper Published

• Infusion Pump IV Flush - Rev. 1.1

The white paper is available at profiles.ihe.net/DEV. Comments on this white paper are welcome at any time and can be submitted at Devices Public Comments .
