Hello HL7 Canada Community:

Here is the link to the HL7 January 2022 Ballot Package for download.

See the ballot explanations for additional information on what is contained in the current ballot package and why.

This Ballot Package is a compressed folder that includes a MS Excel spreadsheet as an index to the ballot content and provides a link to the ballot comment spreadsheet for each item. Please review the instructions in the ballot comment spreadsheet(s) for how to provide your comments and recommendations for the HL7 Canada voting member to vote Affirmatively or Negatively on each ballot.

All ballot comments must be emailed to ron-at-parkerdhc-dot-com by End of Day January 6th, 2022. Your comments will be added to a consolidated response that is due to HL7 on Monday, January 10th, 2022.

SPECIAL NOTE: The ballot index spreadsheet includes references to one standard reaffirmation and several standard withdrawals. Please review that list and read the accompanying document to determine if these Withdrawals will affect any HL7 Standards you have in use in your products or organization. You can indicate your Affirmative or Negative recommendation for these items in the index spreadsheet itself. Please forward that index spreadsheet in your email to me.

A reminder, you can recommend Affirmative with no qualification or a subtype including: suggestion, typo, question or comment.

A Negative recommendation requires a comment and ideally recommended revision or correction. Remember: Use this in the situation where the content of the material is non-functional, incomplete or requires correction before final publication. All Neg votes must be accompanied by comments and be resolved by the Work Group.

Thanks for your assistance in reviewing and ensuring HL7 International Standards are ready for publication.
