Reminder to the Community: The Provincial Review period for the Ontario Health ONE Access Framework Developer Guide and Ontario Context Management System FHIR IG closes in one week on January 21st.
Please contact us at: oh-ds_architecture@ontariohealth.ca if you would like to participate in this provincial review. Thank you in advance for your interest and input. Original Post: Starting December 9, 2020 – January 21, 2021, Ontario Health (OH) we will be launching an open review for two interoperability guides: 1. ONE Access Viewlet Framework – Developer Guide 2. Ontario Context Management System (CMS) FHIR Implementation Guide ONE Access Viewlet Framework – Developer Guide • A common framework that defines how to integrate with existing “ONE Access Viewlets.” These Viewlets can be easily integrated with point-of-service and patient-portal solutions. ONE Access Viewlets address the need for small fit-for-purpose modern web applications that are both SPAs (single-page applications) and PWAs (progressive web applications). They can be used in a consistent modular fashion acting together to provide clinical value. • Stakeholders can provide feedback directly on the document using the ‘comment’ feature in Word. • Download here: https://ehealthontario.on.ca/en/standards/one-access-viewlet-framework-developer-guide Ontario Context Management System FHIR Implementation Guide • Allows digital health applications, such as Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems or Clinical Viewers to set and retrieve patient context information from the CMS for an established user session. The architecture and design of the CMS will ensure that it can be extended to other points of service and delivery channels. • Stakeholders can provide feedback by requesting a spreadsheet to be used in conjunction with the CMS content posted on the Simplifer.net platform. • Click here for access: https://ehealthontario.on.ca/en/standards/ontario-cms Introductory Webinar: An introductory webinar will be hosted on Wednesday December 16 at 9:00 am EST to review the material and explain the process for submitting feedback. Webinar materials and recordings will be made available on MS Teams site. Anticipated Key Dates: 1. December 16: Webinar 2. December 9 to January 21: Provincial Review 3. January 22 to February 16: Comment reconciliation period 4. February 17: OH Business and Technical Committee Meeting to recommend for Strategic Committee approval 5.
