The Responsible body is the organization that should be contacted with questions about values in the domain the OID represents (ie the values of the extensions used).

COSIRA issued the original OID, it has nothing to do with the values associated with the OID.

The responisble party (and its contact info) for this OID should be Shoppers Drug Mart (as was originally submitted). The rest of the updated information listed looks okay :)

I have followed up and have updated the form as follows

Full Name: Shoppers Drug Mart Canada
Symbolic Name: caShoppersDrugMart
Type: Type 4 OID for a Registered Namespace
Description of OID: Vendor OID for Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada to be used in digital health integrations. This is registering an OID from COSIRA - Canadian Open Systems Interconnection Registration Authority to the HL7 OID registry.
OID (if pre-existing): 2.16.124.113618

Hi,

I do second what Randy suggested.

If the OID be registered under the HL7 domain, then it should comply with all rules of HL7 OID. It looks the OID (2.16.124.113618) has been registered somewhere else;
then all previous usage of the OID needs to be reviewed for any conflict with the HL7 OID rules to ensure no any such violation of rules will occur in the future within the HL7 domain.
